An Interactive Visit (Cave Art)
Lascaux is a beautiful site that will enrich any lesson on cave art. Students take an interactive virtual cave tour of “Lascaux” and discover the art along the way. There are English and French versions available. One thing I found very interesting is that Lacraux was found by a group of teenagers. Students will love this fact. Every couple of years I do a lesson in “Cave Art” where students make drawings on sand paper. This lesson will certainly get “a kick in the pants” with the addition of this site.
