Invent Now is a neat site where kids learn about inventions and can upload pictures and text of their own inventions.
Kids can come up with some pretty creative inventions and what a neat way to share them. I also like the idea that they must write about how their invention works. A fantastic and fun lesson can be created using this site. Students can also view and comment on each others inventions. There are some interesting games using the site’s inventions also created by kids. A lesson on patents is also available as well as a download of “The Inventors Tool Kit”. A very nice resource.
“I never did a day’s work in my life. It was all fun.”

Instead of the typical “science fair” how about an “Inventions Fair”.
