The Children’s Poetry Archive is an ever expanding archive of poets for children reading their own work…
Wonderful resource! Nice archive of poetry that can be explored by subject, theme, author, or form. Many of the poems have audio so kids can read along. Students can also learn about poets through biographies featured on the site.
I’ve added this to Kool Kids Write Poetry.

Unique resources. Plenty to discover and share with students.
Awesome, well thought out list. Not a bad tool in the bunch.
To make it a Top 11 list I would add Youblisher. It’s a free page-flip book/magazine generator.

Play and learn online with the Strange Matter of Materials Science.
KB…Konnected’s insight:
“What’s materials science? You could call it the study of stuff! Just about everything you use every day - the shoes you wear, the dishes you eat from, the CDs you listen to, the bike or skateboard you ride - it’s all made of different kinds of stuff.”
This is a really interesting site geared for kids gr. 5-8. “Strange Matter” features online interactives as well as fun things to do in the classroom.
Downloads and guides included for teachers.

Presentations and slideshows have been historically one of the most boring and standard corporate media currently available to employees and management.
Some unique ideas. Many of which can be used in classrooms using Twiter. Perfect ideas to jazz up a professional development presentation too.
Science videos. Not all appropriate for classroom use but most are. Interesting collection.
