“ElectroCity is an online computer game that lets players manage their own virtual towns and cities. It’s great fun to play and also teaches players all about energy, sustainability and environmental management in New Zealand.”
Although this game was created for New Zealanders anyone can use and learn from it. I do believe that in order to save a game you must be from New Zealand but anyone can play for free.
One neat thing about ElectroCity is that nothing (like a buzzer) is going to tell you what is right or wrong in what you do. You learn from your mistakes and achievements. If your town is doing poorly they suggest that you just start over and make different choices to keep the people in your town happy. You learn from playing the game multiple times.
This might be a neat game for students to play in a group. Excellent discussion and debates can occur while trying to build the best town.
