Looking for great printables, crafts, activities, and ideas for the classroom?  Woo Jr. may have just what you are looking for. #elemchat #spedchat #printables #artchat #holidayideas  I have used Woo Jr. for over 2 years now via their weekly emails. They always have nice, quality printables and ideas for the seasons, holidays and regular ‘ol days too. According to the site, “Woo! Jr. is a network of kids activities websites packed full of coloring pages, kids crafts, games, printables, party ideas, and educational resources.” Woo Jr. is divided into 5 areas. Whoopie! Animal Tribe is a Fantastic site where kids can learn about animals and create a totem pole with that knowledge. Students can bang the drum to “meet a random animal” or choose from a list of 15 for a specific one. The site has great info presented in a student-friendly format as well as fantastic artwork.  Kids will love creating their own totem pole and learning about “animal wisdom”. Directions and templates are available on the site.   I love that Animal Tribe shares the meaning of each animal on the totem pole and that students will have to think about which animals will represent them.
