Great to use when student need to calm down and relax.
This is a fantastic craft project that I’m going to file for my mentoring group.
But how to you make colored water? Break open some markers, or highlighters for some blacklight-glowjuice, and add the ink to the water.
A calm jar. I need one of these. You fill the jar with colored water and glitter. When you are upset you shake the jar and have to watch it until the glitter completely settles. The time it takes is enough time for you to settle your emotions.

Also good to use in the classroom are relaxation scripts and breathing techniques.

All types of behavior charts (free) can be found at Chart Jungle. The charts are colorful and express the behavior desired. You can also find many other printables that deal with behavior for school and at home such as…
I am adding this to “Classroom Printables” LiveBinder under the Behavior/Goals/Other tab.
Check out the rest of Chart Jungle because they have many more printables that can be used in the classroom.
Warning: This site has a lot of ads, however I was still able to access their printables easily.
Worksheetplace.com has a variety of printables for goal setting. A good resource for any classroom don’t you think?
To go along with this is a great site that offers free behavior charts called Free Printable Behavior Charts. Excellent site that offers more than just behavior charts. You can read more about it here.
Of course all of this has been add to my LiveBinder: Classroom Printables.
This has just been added to my “Classroom Printables” LiveBinder. It is beginning to fill up.
Teachers at my school will love this one. Free Printable Behavior Charts…and not just one, over 100, maybe over 200, maybe more! You can easily navigate through the site by using the tabs on the left of the screen. There are some ads cluttering the site but nothing unmanageable. This is well worth taking a look at if you use behavior charts or just want to learn more about them.
I also liked the rewards that you can print such as behavior bucks. Print on colored paper or let your students color them in. The site has “bucks” for a variety of other subjects too as well as other neat rewards and incentives.

Lots of neat ways to use all of these free printables. The site was created by Joanne McNulty. Joanne has an M.S. in Counseling and Guidance with expertise in child and family therapy. Thanks Joanne, teachers using these will love you.
I really enjoyed this post by “What Ed Said” and agree with it whole heartedly. Check it out. It’s good to refresh your mind on these things every once in a while just to make sure your staying on track. Thanks Ed!
