Great to use when student need to calm down and relax. gjmueller: This is a fantastic craft project that I’m going to file for my mentoring group. But how to you make colored water? Break open some markers, or highlighters for some blacklight-glowjuice, and add the ink to the water. A calm jar.  I need one of these.  You fill the jar with colored water and glitter.  When you are upset you shake the jar and have to watch it until the glitter completely settles.  The time it takes is enough time for you to settle your emotions. via dailydoseosnark Also good to use in the classroom are relaxation scripts and breathing techniques.
