Word Magnets…make your own. Great center idea! #elemchat #spedchat #1stchat There are two free printable sheets featuring Dolch words available from the Activity Mom. Print on magnetic paper or print on card stock and rubber cement them to a magnetic sheet (available at craft stores such as Michaels, Hobby Lobby etc.). Then cut them out with scissors. Use cookie sheets to stick them too.

Love this glow in the dark activity. #elemchat #spedchat #literacy I didn’t know that pipe cleaners glowed under a blacklight. I am going to use this at one of my centers in the fall. Just have to get a black light. The kids will love this. Can be used for art as well as spelling and letter activities. I think that they will love to take pictures of their creations. How about a short little movie. My head is spinning with ideas. I wonder what else glows.
