OldNewsAds: “Where you will find the best old news ads and articles from U.S. Newspapers dating between 1880 - 1930. All the articles and ads here have been pulled from archives around the internet and are in the public domain. We have taken all the interesting stuff and organized in in one place for you to enjoy.”
I loved the Babe Ruth article. It also had audio of “Take Me Out to the Ball Game”. I had never heard the whole version of the song. Kids will probably enjoy hearing it too.
OldNewsAds is a really neat site so I’ve added it to my “Creating Newspapers in the Classroom” Scoop.it. as a resource. Interesting and fun!
