The quality of the trailers was superb. Music was varied and Images were top notch. Fantastic tools to hook students into lessons. Trailers are organized by Grade (K-12), as well as the subjects listed below.   I checked out the one for U.S. Presidents and was shocked to see a content trailer for every single president. So of course I added it to  U.S. Presidents for Kids So I moved on to the poetry section and added that one to  Kool Kids Write Poetry. Places Around the World is now included in  Countries for Kids. I watched a few and was extremely impressed. The quality of the trailers was superb. Music was varied and Images were top notch. Fantastic tools to hook students into lessons.

This is an amazing site for anything about U.S.History.  The ability for teachers and students to create their own collections using items from the National Archives makes for endless learning opportunities in the classroom. Teachers and students can then create posters and movies with their collection. Crayola now has a feature called Creativity TV. It features craft videos using their products and are presented and demonstrate by kids. Of course, you don’t have to use their products to create many of the projects but I do believe that they have the best crayons on the planet. Kids will enjoy making these crafts while learning from other kids. This would be great to use as a center activity for a few students. Or if you have large screen viewing capabilities how about during a day when recess has been rained out. If you like this you will also like Activity TV, which I use all of the time. Kids really love it. They have a nice variety of activities.

It is a marvelous site for grades K-12, full of puzzles and games to stretch the mind. I particularly like the way students are able to work in groups to solve problems/puzzles.

San Diego Zoo Kids is an amazingly beautiful interactive site for kids. They can watch videos, play games, access animal webcams, learn about zoo jobs, and even get instructions for a craft or two.
