Great practice for parts of speech if I do say so myself. Great to do as a class, pairs or individuals. You can choose words from a list or provide your own. I like that they provide words because they can be used as examples (if they need a quick reminder) for kids who are providing their own. Students will enjoy sharing their poems. A nice way to have kids share with the class is to have students share one stanza of the poem (do it in order). That way no one is listening to the same poem 25 times.
