I know many schools do not allow holiday activities or limit them, and sometimes teachers just get snowman’d out. That’s why I created “My Year in Review” for students.
As the end of the year draws near everyone is sharing their best of the year lists and reviews. You see them on TV, Internet, magazines, and surely you’ve heard them on the radio. It’s fun to see everyone’s top picks. Why not let your students get in on some of the action. I created this “My Year in Review” booklet to do just that.

I really like this activity. Fun and educational. It certainly lets kids share what they like and I know that they like to do that. :-)
What kid doesn’t like sharing his/her favorite video game or TV show. I think this is a win win activity! Kids will enjoy sharing their “picks of the year” with classmates while getting in some good writing practice. Also it’s a great way to find out more about your students and what they like.
